Enough of this,lets give you some of our[short]history. From our humble beginnings in the March of 2000 our aim has always been to offer quality garden machinery that works well,is reliable and above all is backed up by the manufacturer .We don't just choose brand names because they sell!We feel that to sell you a piece of equipment,firstly we have to believe in it ourselves.With this aim in mind we don't change brands year on year ,this helps us to be more efficient by knowing our product better and keeping a good stock of consumable parts.Saying this though we are at the mercy of the industry,and alot happens every year that we have to counter. Take for instance the disappearance of Oleo-Mac as a brand in this country.Yes the identical Efco product is available,but we have spent years building the Oleo-Mac brand up.Rather than try to struggle uphill again promoting a brand not many people know about around here,we have decided to stick with Tanaka for brushcutter and hedgetrimmer sales,and move to Stihl for chainsaw sales. On the pedestrian mower front we now sell wholly from either Hayter or Alko ranges,and this is mirrored in the ride on sales. After the move of premises in 2009 we have really felt the full force of the recession.We have decreased stock levels of new machinery,and we are trying to make our service and repair side work more effectively. This should help us be more efficient as we are only a small concern.New pedestrian mowers etc can mostly be ordered on a next day delivery,PDI'd and delivered to your door.Ride on mowers typically take 3-5 days.Not only are we as competitive as the bigger concerns,but also offer you a hassle free buying experience.We are currently developing our local internet sales page.This will allow you to select from a large range of mowers,and eventually machinery of all kinds,at a price level that is amongst the cheapest on the net.This service is for people within a 15 mile radius of Wisbech.The price you see is the price you pay,built up and delivered to your door.Remember,we demonstrate starting,use and maintenance of the machine.You get a personal service,not a carrier driver that couldnt give a stuff with a crushed box that looks like it has been pulled out of the British museums archives!Remember we wont leave until you are satisfied with the product.You know who you are dealing with,and should any warranty issues raise their head,we are there to sort them out. We can also offer the same service from 15 up to a 40 mile radius of Wisbech with a £12.50 delivery charge,but please allow 3-5 days for delivery We also have an Ebay shop now open,called fen traders.We sell various things on there,all of which are available in store.There might be the odd bargain to be had,so if online shopping is your thing we'll see you there. Our service prices have not altered for this year(AGAIN!),although we have had to start charging for collection on machines over 5 miles away.Fixed price servicing will not be available after 31 March due to the demand for `last minute services' in our busy time we have taken this step to try & push people to have their mowers serviced in our slack time.This is generally from late October through to the end of Febuary.Only customers who purchased new machinery last year can expect a service slot in our busy schedule. After the 31st march we will service mowers at the hourly rate of £32.50 inc vat.A normal ride on service takes about 4 hours(£130.00 at normal rate)but with extra work involved can be up to 7-8hours!That is why we try to tell people that out of season servicing is the most cost effective.It only costs you £110.00 for all labour commitment to your job. Most work in season is usually of a repair nature.Therefore we will fix your mower at our hourly rate,and get you through the season.We then advise that you book it in with us for a fixed price service out of season.We can then spread our work load and be more effective at what we do.

After March 31st all service and repair work is carried out at an hourly rate of £32.50 per hour inc.vat.
Collection and delivery of machines over 5 miles from base will be charged at £1.00 per mile calculated one way.(EG. if you live ten miles from Wisbech it will cost £5.00 collection/deliver back).
